This is (still) a crucial textbook for grad students in algebraic number theory, and should definitely be in print. When I was a grad student (a bit more than ten years ago) some other students had a paper back edition that had been published at some point. (I think that Academic Press might have gone through a phase of publishing paper-back versions of some of their out-of-print books.)

Because of the high demand for this book, I am actively working (along with David Savitt) on trying to get it back in print. If we succeed, it will be the first real success story of this website. Keep your fingers crossed!
Update: The American Mathematical Society is actively working on reprinting this book. The copyright situation is complicated so there is no guarantee yet, but I am optimistic.

Any news yet?
The London Mathematical Society has now brought this book back into print.
